DAPP Framework

We have been successful in gaining Home Office Funding to introduce a framework of 5 Domestic Abuse Perpetrator Programmes throughout Warwickshire.

These programmes are suitable for those who want to change their abusive behaviour, to have safer families, to understand what may have led them to use abusive behaviour and to learn strategies to help their specific situation.

All projects have been written using psychological principles and research. We are delighted to have achieved Respect’s Accreditation standard which is reassurance that the programmes are safe and effective.

Victims Recovery Support Circle

Our Recovery Circle started in October 2019 and is currently for female victims of abuse.  The programme is a valuable space for learning, healing and reflection.

Family Therapy Service

This is a trauma therapy service offering family therapy based on the principles of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP).  This service has been kindly funded by Children In Need for three years and involves long-term therapy for non-abusive parents and children who have experienced domestic abuse.

Therapeutic Play Service

This small service is for children between the ages of 4 and 10 years who have experienced domestic abuse.  We are aiming to build this service to be able to offer it across Warwickshire.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)

EMDR is a type of psychotherapy where individuals can process traumatic experiences by using side to side eye movements with talking therapy. If you are interested in this therapy, please get in touch with your therapist or refer into the service using our website referral.
